Zanett, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZANE) 73.9% HIGHER; announced that it has set an in-house corporate record for contracts signed in a single quarter since the Company was founded over 10 years ago. During the first 3 months of 2010, over $17.1 million dollars in new business has been closed. This amount is comprised of 57 different customers, with the largest customer being responsible for a $4 million mandate. The $17.1 million in deal closings currently reported for Q1 includes the earlier reported $12.0 million comprising of business closed in January and February 2010.

Encorium Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ENCO) 58.3% HIGHER; shares have been extremely volatile over the last week of trading, jumping by more than 80% over Monday and Tuesday of last week, only to sell of by more than 30% over Wednesday and Thursday. Tri-Valley Corporation (AMEX: TIV) 33.7% LOWER; announced today that it executed a Securities Purchase Agreement on April 6, 2010, with a group of institutional investors to purchase $5.0 million of its common stock and warrants in a registered direct offering of securities. Under the terms of the definitive agreements, the investors purchased 3,846,154 shares of Tri-Valley’scommon stock at $1.30 per share, for a total of $5.0 million in gross proceeds, and received warrants to purchase up to 2,307,692 shares in the aggregate.

China Information Security Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPBY) 32.9% HIGHER; today announced that the State Grid Corporation of China selected the Company’s proprietary GeoStar and GeoGlobe geographic information systems as one of its only two suppliers for the build-out of the nationwide Smart Grid in China. CIST is the only domestic Chinese supplier. The other supplier is ESRI, a US company.

The registered direct offering is expected to close on or about April 9, 2010, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. FelCor Lodging Trust (NYSE: FCH) 18.6% HIGHER; yesterday the stock broke over a technical resistance level at $6 and is continuing higher today, now over the $7 level. Shares of FelCor have not trading around this level since late ’08.

Massey Energy Company (NYSE: MEE) 10.9% LOWER; have tumbled today after twenty-five fatalities at its West Virginia Upper Big Branch Mine, resulting from a tragic explosion. In a statement Massey Chairman and CEO Don Blankenship said, “Tonight we mourn the deaths of our members at Massey Energy,” said Don Blankenship. “I want to offer my condolences to the miners’ families who lost loved ones at Upper Big Branch. And I want to thank the rescue teams and the Massey members who continue to work hard on behalf of our miners and their families.”
